'Los Pecadores' lidera las nominaciones a los Critics Choice Awards 2026 con la presencia española de 'Sirât'

Mientras en Hollywood no se habla de otra cosa que del acuerdo entre Netflix y WBD que haría a la gran N roja dueña de todo el catálogo de Warner Bros. y el futuro de la productora y de los contenidos de HBO y Max, y si podría o no violar leyes antimonopolio, llegan las nominaciones a los Critics Choice Awards y dejan daros muy curiosos.

'Los pecadores' de Ryan Coogler (de Warner Bros.) es el título que parte on más nominaciones: es candidata a 17 premios. Le sigue 'Una batalla tras otra' de Paul Thomas Anderson (también de Warner Bros.) con 14 nominaciones y luego con 11 van 'Frankenstein' de Guillermo del Toro (de Netflix) y 'Hamnet' de Chloé Zhao (Focus Features). En la categoría de mejor película compiten 10 títulos y 3 son de Netflix y dos de WB., por lo que, de ser una sola empresa ya, abarcarían justo la mitad de la categoría. En términos generales, WB es la productora con más nominaciones (tiene 36 nominaciones) y le sigue Netflix (con 27).

España se ha llevado 3 nominaciones. Compite la 'Sirât' de Oliver Laxe en las categorías de mejor película internacional y de mejor sonido, con Laia Casanovas nominada; y en televisión 'Cuando nadie nos ve', serie de Daniel Corpas protagonizada por Maribel Verdú compite a la mejor serie extranjera.

En el apartado de TV la historia se repite. Las series que optan a más premios son 'Adolescencia' con 6 nominaciones y 'Nadie quiere esto' con 5, ambas de Netflix. Con 4 empatan 'La diplomática' y 'Death by Lightning' de Netflix, 'The Pitt' y 'Hacks' de HBO Max y 'All Her Fault' de Peacock y 'Separación' de Apple TV.

Netflix lidera a todas las cadenas y plataformas de streaming con 31 nominaciones, pero solo cuatro más que HBO Max. El dominio si la fusión ya fuese efectiva es innegable. La 31.ª edición de los Premios Críticos de Cine se celebrará el domingo 4 de enero en el Barker Hangar de Santa Mónica en una ceremonia presentada por Chelsea Handler.
